Thank you for the submissions for the 2027 calendar. The participation of the photographers shows some real dedication and skill. The colorful calendars with God’s beautiful scenery will be offered for sale during the month of November. We will have a sample calendar, and an order sheet will be available. The 2027 calendars will sell for $10.00 each, still no price hike for those who like to purchase! This year the calendar sale profits will be added to our scholarship fund.
Another opportunity to donate to our church’s preschool! This year Thrivent is offering up to 3 million dollars in direct support on “Giving Tuesday”, December 1! One does not need to be a Thrivent member to donate through this special program! Please use the QR code, (pictured below) click on the search online catalog box, then type in “The Good Shepherd’s Little Lambs Preschool, Tacoma, WA” into the search by name box, press search. From there it should show our preschool name, please confirm the address is ours in Tacoma, then continue to make your donation following the prompts and Thrivent will also donate to the preschool because you did! THANK YOU!!
Sunday, November 8th will be a special Christian education Sunday. During the service the preschool students will be highlighted as a recording of them will be shown as they sing praises to our God with a few songs. Their exuberance and excitement are heartfelt and real.
There is room for more children in our classes, if you know of anyone looking, please send them our way. For any further questions about a particular class, please use our contact information from above or look in the narthex for brochures and registration material. We are happy to answer any questions or give tours with advance notice.
Thank you to everyone who prays, encourages, and donates in any way to the church preschool! We appreciate your devotion to this special ministry. With your help we have the blessing of sharing the Gospel of Jesus with area children and their families. Together with you we are “Sharing Christ, Feeding Lambs”.
