In January we will highlight the Bible stories of the Magi visiting Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in Bethlehem, Jesus in the temple at 12 years old, His baptism signifying the start of His earthly ministry, and the calling of the first twelve disciples. We do not know much of Jesus’ childhood, but what we do know is important for us to look at the whole of God’s plan of salvation through Jesus. In preschool we like to let the children know He really was a child – human – like them, yet our perfect eternal God. We challenge the students to live and make choices that they think the child Jesus made to help make His ministry more relatable to them.
In January we will be hosting our Science Sunday, on Sunday, January 25th, in the fellowship hall. This event is for any family that wants to explore science activities with their children. It is scheduled from 2:30 – 3:30 pm that afternoon. Please join us for some fun experiments and learning while having fun.
