Our ’26 – ’27 school year will begin on Tuesday, September 8th at 8:45 am. As we approach our opening day, we still have spots for students in the Junior Kindergarten class – 3 or 5 mornings and the preschool classes that run either 2 or 3 mornings are available. If you have any questions about a particular class, please use our contact information from above or look in the narthex for brochures and registration material. We are happy to answer any questions or give tours with advance notice.
Each classroom also received a wall or two of fresh paint. With the flower fundraiser from spring, we were able to purchase a new chair and couch (lower photo) for the JK reading area, new wooden blocks, molding strips to repair cubbies, magnetic blocks and cubes, and new classroom flags. Your support helps make all this possible! Thank you!
It is that time of year again that the preschool is looking for photograph submissions for the yearly calendar fundraiser. Please remember that we would like them submitted to the church office (secretary@gslctacoma.com) in the landscape format of God’s beautiful creation with a Bible verse to go with the photo. Please submit your (up to 3 photos) during the month of September. We will accept submissions until October 10th. Thank you for your participation in the making of this yearly fundraiser a fun and successful event.
We appreciate all the donations and encouragement you give us, especially through prayers! Thank you for sharing in this mission to serve local families by sharing the love of Jesus through education. A special shout out of thanks to the members who use the Thrivent Choice Dollars and direct them to the preschool. These dollars do add up and every donation is appreciated.
